Add to Cart: Our Team’s July Wishlist

Ever wondered where the Festival team shops? We asked what pieces are currently sitting in their cart, which might inspire your next wardrobe purchase. Featuring only Australian brands, our team is loving a statement piece, tailoring and muted tones. See what’s in store below.

Our hot tip: we’ve been loving PayPal Pay in 4. It allows us to grab the pieces we’re eyeing off, without needing to pay the full amount up front, just one easy payment now and the rest every fortnight. And if payday’s running late (we get it), there are no late fees, which honestly takes the pressure off.

MADISON BROWN, MARKETING EXECUTIVE

I’d say my style is basics with an edge. I gravitate toward capsule friendly pieces that have something unexpected - an interesting texture, an exaggerated shape, or a bold detail. With a big part of my role being content creation I’m constantly on the move, so comfort is non-negotiable but that doesn’t mean compromising on style. I usually wear neutrals, but I try to bring colour and shape into my outfits through accessories. Poppy Lissiman is a go-to for fun, sculptural styles like the Bingo Prick Bag that add just the right pop. I’m also rarely without a chunky shoe. Being a short gal, they give me height and presence without sacrificing comfort. Alpha 60’s Ezra Shoe is a standout on my wishlist - the craftsmanship, the hardware, the buckles - I’m obsessed. For extra comfortable days, I’ve always loved Nagnata pieces like the Surya Wool Tank.

JENNA BARRETT, HEAD OF COMMERCIAL PARTNERSHIPS

My style is effortless but never boring. I dress for my personality, which is somewhere between inner city and coastal style. I'm about clothes with character, patterns, texture and bold accessories that bring it all together, like the Camilla & Marc Rhys Checked Pump. I'm not a capsule wardrobe girlie. Instead, I build my looks around colour. Right now I'm living for shades of blue and green, which seems fitting with the current Melbourne weather. I’m especially loving the Blanca Velo Embellished Denim Shorts. Most mornings start with a coffee in hand, music on loud and staring into my wardrobe deciding how I feel, what version of me wants to show up today.

TODD ANTHONY, HEAD OF FASHION PROGRAMMING

Lately, I’ve been gravitating toward a wardrobe that feels unapologetically expressive and distinctly genderless. My personal style is rooted in contrast sharp tailoring softened by movement, utility reimagined through embellishment, and silhouettes that challenge convention. I’m drawn to garments that evoke emotion, like the fringed vest from Viceta Wang that sways with intent, bodysuits that feel like armour and give strength, pinstripes reworked for the now (very into Design by Jude’s Straight Pant). Each piece I wear tells a story one that blurs binaries, honours craft, and reflects a more fluid, intuitive approach to dressing.
