COMMUNITY THREADS: AFGHAN HAND EMBROIDERY WORKSHOP

SAT 24 FEB 2:00PM
The Social Studio Workroom, Collingwood

WORKSHOP

Spend an afternoon at The Social Studio and learn traditional Afghan hand embroidery skills from a talented craftsperson from Melbourne’s Afghan community.

There will also be beautifully intricate examples of fine Hazara and Pashtun embroidery on display for you to marvel at. Some pieces the embroiderer has carried with them for decades and carry deep meaning. We look forward to sharing these and the stories behind them with you.

Tickets $80
