The festival makes it grand return to the iconic Royal Exhibition Building in 2024 as part of our continued partnership with Museums Victoria. As the official home of the festival, this prestigious and historically significant building has been our proud host for six remarkable festivals and will provide a stunning canvas to present our world-class Premium Runways and Fashion Forecourt to over 3,000 people per night.
ABOUT THE ROYAL EXHIBITION BUILDING
Nestled amidst the verdant expanse of Carlton Gardens, the regal silhouette of the Royal Exhibition Building stands as a testament to Melbourne's rich heritage and cultural legacy.
With its meticulously restored interior, expansive galleries, and awe-inspiring dome, the Great Hall of the Royal Exhibition Building continues to exude an aura of grandeur, playing host to a myriad of trade shows, fairs, and community events.
The Royal Exhibition Building was built for the 1880 Melbourne International Exhibition. As a key attraction of the 1880 and 1888 international exhibitions, the Dome Promenade provided visitors a unique opportunity to overlook the gardens and view the Melbourne skyline.
