Fret not – Trashie Clothing Exchange is back with a vengeance for this year’s PayPal Melbourne Fashion Festival. Presented by Fashion Journal, this special edition of Trashie will feature a panel discussion where Fashion Journal’s Assistant Editor, Izzy Wight, will speak with Trashie’s Co-Founders, Katie and Angela Di Fabrizio, about all things circular fashion. Come join us with your fashion pieces that no longer serve you and exchange them for pre-loved beauties.

ABOUT THE ORGANISERS
TRASHIE was created and produced by Katie and Angela Di Fabrizio, sisters who have spent a large portion of their lives “sharing” clothing. Working closely together they have successfully been running Trashie in Melbourne/Naarm over the past two years. Separately these two sisters have worked within very different realms and have come together to curate and build their vision of a sustainable clothing venture. Many internal conflicts within the fashion industry work against each other, these sisters wish to create a space where these conflicts cease to exist and there is a focus on individuality and accessibility.
Cait is the Editor of Fashion Journal and has previously worked as a freelance writer, editor and copywriter. She steers Fashion Journal’s editorial voice and creates inclusive and engaging content that’s reflective of the publication's diverse audience. Her writing has appeared in i-D Magazine, Acclaim Magazine, Sauce, Ladies of Leisure, Catalogue Magazine, Gusher Magazine and more.
Izzy is a Melbourne-based writer and the Assistant Editor at Fashion Journal. She’s all about thoughtful, relatable storytelling and fashion, beauty and lifestyle journalism that doesn’t take itself too seriously.
