FASHION TALKS: CONVERSATIONS ACROSS CULTURE PRESENTED BY MUSEUMS VICTORIA

TUESDAY 5 MARCH          2:30PM
Treetops, Melbourne Museum

TALK

This panel conversation will reflect on the ethics, opportunities and questions involved when we draw on diverse cultures from the perspective of another. Throughout the discussion, our host will probe how cultural collaboration has been practiced historically, how collaborations work now, protocols for best practice and how to honour rather than appropriate culture.

Hosted by writer and Culture Club podcast co-host, Maggie Zhou, this panel talk will include discussion between First Nations designer, Paul McCann; Creative Projects Manager at Social Studio, Bonnie Mooney; Women's Community Advisory Group representative, Shegofa Nasari, and Inclusion Thought Leader, Winitha Bonney.
