EXHIBITION
All Fur Coat & No Knickers is a fashion illustration and textile exhibition by illustrator and designer Eirian Chapman. Exploring the joy of dressing up and the individualism of style, this exhibition showcases a year’s worth of fashion drawings alongside painted canvases transformed into wearable art, highlighting the clothing choices we make to express our personalities.
Alongside the drawings on paper will hang brightly painted linen canvases transformed into wearable clothing. The painting’s once flat planes and hard edges become soft and three-dimensional as they shift their symbolic meaning into wearable talismans.

ABOUT THE ORGANISERS
Eirian is an illustrator, designer and a lover of clothing and style. She creates works for advertising, editorial, digital, retail and public spaces and is represented by the Jacky Winter Group in Australia, Europe and the US. Primarily a digital artist, Eirian also works in paint, pencils and fabric. Her work is inspired by Australian biodiversity, fashion, pop culture and mythology. She likes to explore conceptual and humorous themes through bold colour and graphic shapes. Some of her clients include Elle magazine, Cosmopolitan, The Hollywood Reporter, Spotify, Facebook, Apple, the Australian Ballet, Drunk Elephant, Kiehl’s and Glasshouse Fragrances.
