Re:Styled — A sustainable fashion challenge

SUNDAY 5 MARCH
2:30 PM - 3:15 PM
PANEL TALK
Live Stage Emporium

Re:Style — a LIVE sustainable design challenge exploring themes of circular fashion, that will see LCI Fashion Design students creating unique garments from donated fabrics and past season pieces from some of Australia’s favourite designer brands.

And if that didn’t sound challenging enough, they’re on the clock… while on show to the public.

Witness an as-yet-unknown future of fashion as it gets stitched together right in front of you, in real-time. Hosted inside Emporium, students will become designers in residence — reworking donated garments into wildly different one–off pieces, before presenting them on the Fashion Weekend stage.

The micro ‘runway’ presentation will be hosted by Melbourne stylist Karinda Mutabazi (Side Eye Creatives) and will give students a platform to display and speak about their creations.

This is FREE event
