IN THESE SHOES

FRI 20 – SUN 22 FEBRUARY

PERFORMANCE

With over two decades as one of Australia’s most celebrated fashion writers, Glynis Trail-Nash has more stylish stories under her Gucci belt than most—and she’s ready to spill. Dressed to thrill in costumes by Oscar-winning designer Tim Chappel (The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert) and Mariam Seddiq, and accessorised with a set list of stylish chansons, Glynis will take you from Perth to Paris to unpick the world of fashion.

From vintage-loving teen to navigating the label-loving fashion pack, she will dip into dopamine dressing, berate the scourge of activewear and answer your most pressing questions—What’s in? What’s out? Can I eat fries in that? Plus! Practical tips including how to (over)pack, when never to shop, and why you should always Think Pink! Accompanied by dapper musical director Josh Haines at the grand piano, this is the show’s debut in style-centric Melbourne.

Still giddy from its run at the 2025 Edinburgh Festival Fringe, In These Shoes has had an award-winning fling at Adelaide Fringe, and sell-out seasons at Sydney Fringe, FringeWorld Perth and the Perth International Cabaret Festival. Melbourne, it’s time to put your best Vivier forward because style is coming back in style!
