DRAWN TO FASHION

WEDNESDAY 18 FEBRUARY
6:30PM – 7:30PM

WORKSHOP

Step into a vibrant drawing session where a stunning model showcasing incredible Australian design becomes your muse for the evening.

Facilitated by illustrator Meg Kolac, this workshop creates space for you to explore and respond to the energy in the room. Short, sharp poses invite quick mark-making and playful interpretation encouraging you to loosen up, trust your instinct and let your lines carry mood and motion. While longer poses offer the chance to sink into details, observe fabric and form, capture rhythm and flow and bring character into your drawing.

A live musician will accompany the session, crafting an immersive soundscape that enhances the rhythm and mood of the drawing experience, blending studio calm and runway energy.

Held at No Vacancy gallery, the environment is relaxed, welcoming and perfect for anyone curious about fashion illustration. From complete beginners to seasoned sketches. No pressure, no perfectionism, just a beautiful opportunity to put pencil to paper and enjoy the process.

Participants are required to bring their own materials including sketchbooks, paper, markers, pencils or whatever medium you prefer and digital mark making materials are also encouraged such as iPads.
