LAUNCH | REPAIRED BY BROOD X AUSTRALIAN RED CROSS COLLABORATION

FRIDAY 20 FEBRUARY 2026
4:00PM – 7:00PM

TALK

Join us for an evening in our studio to launch the new collaboration between Australian Red Cross Shops and Brood that restores classic wool knitwear pieces that have been collected through donations for a new and long life of use.

Each item in the inaugural Repaired by Brood collection was originally donated to Australian Red Cross Shops but could not be sold or reused due to damage or signs of wear. Brood has carefully restored these garments, preparing them for resale to a new owner. Some repairs are subtle and nearly invisible, while others are intentionally visible adding a unique, sometimes playful aesthetic to the piece. All items are made from 100% wool, and every repair has been completed at the Brood studio using new or reclaimed merino wool yarn.

This is the first opportunity to preview and purchase pieces from this new collaboration, with all profits from these items going directly to Australian Red Cross Shops and their humanitarian efforts. Look forward to some behind the scenes action with repair demonstrations, studio and workroom tour, the Brood core range preview and special offers.

Brood is home to considered knitwear pieces - premium staples that are designed, developed and made in-house from grown natural fibres. Now we are excited to be launching Repaired by Brood to bring new life to timeless knitwear pieces.

Australian Red Cross Shops is part of the world’s largest humanitarian organisation. Their aim is to improve people’s lives, and build their resilience, no matter who they are or where they live. From emergency support, critical blood donations, migration services and community resilience, to international capacity building and promoting respect for the laws of war, Australian Red Cross Shops continue to stand beside and treat every human with dignity.
