Australian designer Rochelle Gregory, the visionary behind luxury fashion label Rocky Rafaela, presents The Rise of Rocky - an exclusive one-night experience honouring resilience, reinvention, and the power of transforming trauma into strength.
Created in collaboration with ARIA Award–winning, multi-award director Nick Kozakis, the night opens with a powerful cinematic mini film. Rochelle opens up about her darkest days - mental health battles, hospital rooms, addiction, identity, and moments where life felt impossible. It’s real, raw storytelling designed to open eyes and spark meaningful conversations around mental health.
The film transitions seamlessly into a live runway - a true Rocky Rafaela way of telling a story. Guests are taken on an emotional journey from darkness to empowerment, revealing how pain became purpose and how The ROCKY RAFAELA universe was built that led to dressing some of the biggest cultural icons in the world, including the Hadid family, Hailey Bieber, Dua Lipa, Ruby Rose, Paris Hilton, Delta Goodrem, Danni Minogue and more.
As the final frame fades, the room ignites. Models move through the space like characters stepping out of the film, each look representing a chapter of resilience. Live music, spoken word, dancers, surprise performances, and cinematic lighting transform the night into a high-energy, visceral celebration of power, sensuality, and possibility - culminating in the debut of the new collection.
This experience is deeply uplifting - created to leave anyone who is struggling, fearful, or doubting themselves feeling seen, inspired, and reminded of their strength.
This is not a traditional runway. It’s an experience to be apart of. A night for anyone who needs proof that no matter what you’ve been through - you can rise and become unstoppable.
