REVIVING THE SILENCED

WED 6 MAR 5:30PM
Torrens University Auditorium, Melbourne

TALK

This talk presents the recently published academic paper ‘Reviving the Silenced; Defining Vegan Fashion and Classifying Materials of Animal Origin’, which questions traditional relationships between humans and animals by recentering animals as unwilling participants in the commercialization of their bodies and offering new ways to reflect upon the fashion industry’s use of animals as resources.
