RUNWAY

Artisan fashion label R E M U S E and its collaborators return to present the sixth instalment of annual mycology inspired series, MICO|4; a production exploring how the answers to waste colonialism can be found through biomimicry and reverence for the Funghi kingdom.

Audiences will be immersed into a world that bears reverence to nature’s first recyclers – mushrooms, through the continuation of a series designed to ignite all senses through light, sound and circular design, created from inhouse and community sourced textile scraps and both food waste and plant based dyes.

Tickets $45

Concession BlakTix - Free (contact organisers to arrange. Limited concession tickets available due to venue capacity)

**This event is independently produced by REMUSE and forms part of our Independent Programme.

ABOUT THE ORGANISERS

Tamara Leacock is a designer and stylist who works with recycled materials, artisan techniques, and Afro-futurist aesthetics. She integrates natural and recycled materials into shapes that are androgynous, often free size, and a fluid exploration of colour, nature and energy. Originally from Lenapehoking (New York), Tamara has since relocated to Narrm (Melbourne) to launch her label, R E M U S E, in connection with the lands she now calls home.
