Learn to Read Fashion is a collaborative project and fashion show that will showcase the work of Annie Wu and Chunxiao Qu, merging their practice of garment making and text based work.
 
Working together has allowed both artists to explore the possibilities of recontextualising text based poetic gestures onto and into wearable garments in playful ways. The show will include works modelled on humans and dog friends.

ABOUT THE ORGANISERS

Annie Wu - artist and designer, founder of Articles of Clothing, a fashion project focused on creating a archive of numbered garments.

ChunXiao Qu - Chunxiao Qu is an artist and poet born in China,She currently lives and works in Melbourne. She is currently represented by Futures Gallery and has just been selected as a Gertrude studio artist for 2024.
