Liona and Silent Dove present Celestial, proudly present a fusion of art and couture jewellery design in celebration of divine femininity for Melbourne Fashion Festival 2024.

Melbourne artist Liona and Melbourne couture jewellery designer Silent Dove have partnered together in an ethereal array of colour and complex themes interwoven in a series of large-scale artworks and epic jewellery designs.

The launch features ‘The Woman’, a collaborative piece reflecting the combined creative talents of special guest designer Fernanda, together with Lionia and Silent Dove creator Sarah.

Come meet Lionia and Silent Dove creator Sarah in a series of events throughout the exhibition, including a dynamic launch with fashion expert Todd Anthony and up-cycled couture designer Fernanda Covarrubias, and workshop/open studio.

ABOUT THE ORGANISERS

Lionia is a recognisable and innovative portrait artist on the Melbourne art scene. Her work has been embraced in Australia and internationally.

Artist and designer Sarah Anderson has been creating unique jewellery designs for over 18 years drawing inspiration from the endless wells of inspiration found in the realms of art history. Each Silent Dove piece is hand-wired by designer Sarah over many hours with devotion using premium materials such as carnelian, amethyst, lapis lazuli, amazonite, and freshwater pearls. All Silent Dove jewellery designs feature heirloom fabrics preserved in hand-poured resin.
