WORKSHOP

Give your wardrobe a sustainable and artistic refresh in this unique Upcycling Workshop led by award-winning artist and designer, Josh Deane.

This hands-on session is all about transforming pre-loved clothing into bespoke, wearable art. Josh will supply the necessary high-quality paints and inks, and will expertly guide participants through the entire process from initial design concepts to the proper techniques for applying paint to different fabrics.

Participants are required to bring their own organic clothing items, such as:

  • Shirts (cotton or linen recommended)

  • Denim jackets or jeans

  • Leather jackets

  • Synthetic leather is also welcome

Josh will share practical tips on preparing materials, achieving vibrant colour, and ensuring the long-lasting life of your newly designed garment. This workshop isn't just about painting; it's about connecting personal expression with sustainability and challenging consumer culture. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or a curious beginner, you’ll walk away with a functional, one-of-a-kind art piece. Come ready to unleash your creativity and give your favourite clothes a bold new life!
