Queer DJ/ Artist SLAMROSS1000 brings a curated selection of fashion, art, and music to Brunswick with SLAMROSS1000 WORLD – a pop-up shop hosting clothes and art by local legends such as Spitsubishi, Sexiaz Lingerie, Pigsuit, Oriette Wood and Rupa Rockstar.
SLAMROSS1000 WORLD invites you to shop a range of garments, accessories, and art pieces from local queer artists and indulge your inner club kid. The event strives to bring together queer artists, musicians and designers to create a space for people to network, be inspired, be part of the community and experience the amazing creativity and talent this community has to offer.
For the uninitiated, SLAMROSS1000 was born from Melbourne’s queer underground scene; where dark spaces, weekend-long parties, and defiance thrive. Evolving from DJ sets, to events, to a recognisable clothing brand, SLAMROSS1000 aims to foster community and serve big diva energy.
SLAMROSS1000 WORLD will open on Thursday 19th with an opening night from 6pm, then continue on Friday and Saturday from 11am - 6pm. It will then close out with a ticketed Dance Party event from 10pm-3am on Saturday 21st with local DJ legends Cookie and Girl Tool.

Reintroducing gabber to Melbourne’s underground in 2017, SLAMROSS1000 quickly became known for her addictive hard DJ sets, and late night, bass-filled parties. To commemorate these events and the community they fostered, she began making simple merch tees which soon evolved into an in-demand streetwear brand influenced by Melbourne’s own club kids.
Made in Melbourne from original pattern design, to manufacturing, and printing, SLAMROSS1000 is known for bold graphics and oversized silhouettes with a gothic undertone. SLAMROSS1000 values authenticity and community, and is a living, breathing thread of the Melbourne underground from the buzzing anticipation of pre’s to depths of kick-ons.
