PARTY HARD - AFTER THE PARTY

THU 5 FEB – SAT 28 MAR

EXHIBITION

Party Hard – After The Party is a glittering ode to what survives after the night. Ripped lace, stained satin, sequins loosened from dancing — garments that should have been discarded instead become witnesses, carrying the memory of pleasure, intimacy and protest. From Edwardian gatherings to Mardi Gras parades and today’s queer clubs, clothes mark the body’s exuberance and its vulnerability.

SOIREE NIGHT

Join an in-conversation with exhibition collaborator and world-renowned photographer Gerard O’Connor, Richard Nylon, Gwendolynne and Senior Curator Elizabeth Anya-Petrivna as they share insights, highlights and a shared passion for art, fashion and self-expression.

Party Hard – After the Party is supported by the National Trust of Victoria Foundation.
