NIN STUDIO: POP-UP + EVENING TRANSFORMATIONS
SAT 14 – MON 16 FEBRUARY
10:00AM – 5:00PM
PERFORMANCES
Off the back of a successful summer pop-up debut in Sydney, Nin Studio returns for its second Australian installment, this time bringing its experimental energy to Melbourne. Known for its sculptural designs, deadstock materials, and performance-driven fashion, Nin will activate a four-day pop-up from February 14-16 that merges retail, performance, and transformation. By day, the store will offer a curated selection of womens and mens clothing, seasonless designs and textile innovations. By night, the space transforms into an immersive exploration of archetypes, where guests are guided through clothing, movement, sound, scent, and taste to awaken their senses and reconnect with self-expression. These intimate evening events invite the community into ritual space, offering a portal for transformation through the body, the senses, and the art of dressing.
The Mystics: A Return to our Softness / Saturday 14 February, 6.30pm for 7pm
Bring your lover, bestie, or your own sacred self. This sensorial softening invites all bodies and genders to explore the deep feminine and awaken the lover within through the archetype of The Mystic. Guided by cacao, sound journey, gentle movement and poetry, guests are wrapped in an atmosphere of warmth, surrender, and slowness with an experienced facilitator and Nin Studio founder, Britt Maton. Through ritual and reflection, we’ll reconnect with intuition, sacred sensuality, and the art of presence. This is a night to witness and be witnessed in your softness.
The Warrior Earth, Movement + Ancestry / Sunday 15 February, 6.30pm for 7pm
Rooted in resilience, this final night brings you back to the archetype of The Warrior. Not as a fighter, but as a grounded protector of land, lineage, and truth. The space becomes a living altar, with soil underfoot, lemon myrtle on the tongue, and drumbeats in the air. Guided by local voices, we honour the land we're on and explore how movement awakens ancestral memory in the body. This is a night of activation, where participants touch something raw, real, and remembered. A somatic journey of reconnection, presence, and purposeful embodiment.
