MIND: THE REGENERATIVE FASHION STORE
FRI 20 – SAT 28 FEBRUARY
SHOPPING
MIND: The Regenerative Fashion Store (MIND) is a curated shop featuring emerging Australian brands creating artisanal pieces using circular and regenerative design practices. Brimming with innovation, each designer creates through methods of circularity: reconstruction, shredding, dyeing, overprint, knit and crochet, using remnant, dead-stock and second-hand materials and garments. Some designers use traceable and considered materials such as Econyl or Tarndie 100% Polwarth wool. Each curated brand pushes the boundaries of circularity and utilises their unique methods into your new favourite pieces.
Regenerative fashion supports circularity in fashion design through up-cycling materials that would otherwise be discarded (Made Trade 2023). Australia currently contributes over 200,000 tonnes of clothing to landfills every year (Seamless 2024). MIND encourages considered engagement with and reflection on our relationship with clothing and textiles.
Visit MIND and discover garments, bags, jewellery, accessories and art pieces created by designers and brands shaping the future of Australian fashion.
