Each year, the Festival presents the Grand Showcase – a spectacular solo show in our Premium Runway Series celebrating one brilliant Australian fashion brand. In 2026, we are proud to feature Cappellazzo. 

Alongside the Festival, Cappellazzo is celebrating its 30th anniversary, cementing Founder and Creative Director, Sonia Cappellazzo’s incredible couture legacy in Melbourne. Her luxurious bridal, ready-to-wear, and red-carpet gowns blend meticulous craftsmanship, Italian heritage and innovative fabrications. 

Committed to empowering women, Cappellazzo preserves traditional techniques while embracing modern design, creating forever-lasting pieces that inspire confidence and radiance. From Cannes and Venice Film Festivals to the Brownlow Medal, there is not a red carpet that Cappellazzo’s masterpieces haven’t been featured on. 

This Grand Showcase promises an unforgettable celebration of elegance and artistry.
