In this performative presentation of our SL26 Dual Nature collection, designer Jude Ng revives Miss Moneesha, his 20-year seasoned drag alter ego, to engage in vibrant storytelling as she evokes the tale of the designer’s duality through her performance.
Held at the JUDE Flagship Store, the performance weaves together a narrative where drag meets runway, as Miss Moneesha and two gender-neutral models take the audience on a journey of contrasts—unwrapping, layering, and revealing each character’s complex nature.
The collection and dynamic runway presentation illustrate the concept of Dual Nature as it relates to identity and purpose. Dual Nature conjures ideas of push and pull, structure and flow, peace and chaos—perhaps the duality of life itself.
The evening will premiere a capsule collection of one-of-a-kind statement pieces handcrafted in-store using our zero-waste studio techniques. Guests are invited to shop the debut capsule artisanal collection alongside our current Seasonless 26 collection.
The event is a celebration of everything we love about working in fashion in Melbourne—slow, thoughtful, ethical, inclusive, and joyfully embracing queerness and gender neutrality.
