Step into style and stitch into history with shoes and outfits from our iconic Museum Collection where every heel, hem and sparkle has a story waiting to be drawn.

To celebrate PayPal Melbourne Fashion Festival across the road, we’re showcasing these standout pieces in an immersive digital studio. Using Procreate on iPad Pro, you’ll learn to create striking digital illustrations. Prepare to surprise yourself.

Perfect for beginners to experts, this relaxed, inspiring workshop lets you explore texture, colour, and form in fresh, fashion infused ways.

Session 1: 4:00pm – 5:30pm
Session 2: 6:30pm – 8:00pm

• ABOUT THE ORGANISER

  Experts from Museums Victoria’s History & Technology team care for the state’s clothing and textiles collection, which captures Victoria’s social history, design, manufacturing, and craftsmanship.

  Their collection includes everything from vintage Prue Acton garments to white leather boots and over 100 t‑shirts that chronicle workwear, protest, and youth culture.

  Through exhibitions and programs, the team brings these garments to life revealing the stories sewn into Victoria’s fashion past.
