THE BAD APPLES RUNWAY
THURSDAY 19 FEBRUARY
7:00PM
INDEPENDENT RUNWAYS
Bad Apples Runway is a showcase for designers who do not fit the mold. Where the Festival’s Graduate Showcase celebrates polished student collections, Bad Apples Runway flips the script and spotlights the dropouts, the career switchers, and the self-taught makers whose work is forged outside the classroom.
Raw, unfiltered, and born from lived experience, these collections challenge the industry’s narrow definitions of talent and legitimacy. By giving a platform to outsiders, Bad Apples Runway offers a diverse and rebellious vision of fashion in Melbourne.
This year’s show features nine independent labels shaping the city’s creative underground: Attune Clothing by Amelia Crowe, Eager Glory by Rad Valance, Ataraxia by G Sheridan, JellyOriginals by Neo Thornton and Reid Higgins, Gud Luck Jewellery by Tara, Faeble by Layla, ALICESTFU by Alice, MILO by Michelle Loraine and Oletta by Lettie Woodman.
