These chapters are a creative exploration of Dentro bags, drawing metaphorical connections to different aspects of the human body. Shot across two unique locations - the leather goods factory in Verona and a Parisian studio - the series seeks to establish Dentro as a luxury brand renowned for its exceptional craftsmanship and elevated status.  

The series unveils the artisanal labor on the exterior,the threads,the handles,the foam and the zipper while the polished facade remains hidden within, resulting in a captivating portrayal of craftsmanship. Every part is inverted, every element becomes an aesthetic focal point, offering a documentary-style journey into the world of Dentro's unique creations.

Stella Stylianou is a dynamic freelance fashion and movement wear designer as well creative visionary from Cyprus based in Paris. She graduated from The Royal Academy of Art, The Hauge (KABK) in the Netherlands with a Fashion & Textile design BA. Her interest in designing garments that are meant to move stems from her dance education and love from the age of 5 to this very day. 

Divided Connections is a short film to support Stella Stylianou’s graduating designs from The Royal Academy of Art, The Hague. 

The driving force behind every aspect of this film is to reflect on the division Stella experienced growing up in a divided country, Cyprus. As the film unfolds we experience relentless depictions of separation, displacement, tension, push and pull whilst encompassing Stella’s evocative designs and a rich immersive soundscape. These sensations only seem to resolve as the performers gather perspective and find peace in connecting with each other.

Tuna is an award winning director based in Istanbul. He was born in June 1998 in Ankara. He graduated from Marmara University Fine Arts Faculty Film Design Department.

In 2018, he wrote and directed the short film "ALTI" starring Suna Selen. This film was selected in various festivals. During this time, he went to England to study language and received a certificate from Skola English In Exeter. When he was in the third year of the university, he shot the short films "DUVAR" and "DÜŞ-ME".

“DÜŞ-ME” was screened at the Russian Cultural Center and received awards from various festivals. In addition to these, Tuna worked on many film projects. He shot commercials and dance-music clips. He was selected for many international film festivals with his fashion films that he wrote and directed. Tuna is currently a graduate student at Marmara University Fine Arts Institute Film Design Department.

Popularly known as Gilmore Tee, Gilmore Qhawe Khumalo is an award-winning media practitioner, curator, publicist and content creator. He is the Founder & Creative Director of Paper Bag Africa, a content creation, management and public relations establishment headquartered in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe.

Gilmore has led a research named I Wear My Culture, on ethnic groups in Zimbabwe, using Fashion and Film to capture findings. The end results of the research are contemporary looks, made by 10 young designers, inspired by the findings, a fashion film and mini-documentary.

What if you could wear your culture? What if you could express your identity and heritage through fashion? That’s the question that 9 Zimbabwean designers set out to answer in I wear my culture, a fashion film that showcases their stunning creations inspired by different ethnic groups in Zimbabwe.  

The film is the first part of a two-part project, the second being a feature-length documentary that goes behind the scenes of the research and design process of the designers. I wear my culture is a film that celebrates and preserves the rich and diverse heritage of Zimbabwe, as well as the potential and innovation of African fashion.

Amelia Carlisle is based in Naarm, Melbourne, recently completing her Honours in Fashion Design at RMIT University.  Amelia’s graduating project, “Soothe the bother, you busy body”,  is inspired by sensory support devices that help calm overstimulation and anxiety.  

‘Soothe the bother, you busy body’, is inspired by sensory support devices that help calm overstimulation and anxiety. Sensory support is defined as a variety of different equipment, tools and toys that are designed to support a persons sensory system by providing input to one or more of their senses.

The film focuses on how  garments and accessories of this collection are able to be moved, worn and used in these situations and the variety of individual needs. The film aims to  communicate the ease in which sensory support can be integrated into a contemporary fashion context, providing comfort through clothing and a more in  depth consideration of the user experience.

Holly’s family has been farming and nurturing the land for 163 years and her mission was to weave this narrative into a tangible medium of clothing and moving image.

Growing up on the outskirts of Bendigo, Victoria, Holly re-located to Melbourne to study her Bachelor and begin her career within the Fashion Industry. She currently works within the industry as a Client Advisor at Giorgio Armani, Melbourne. She also works casually as a ‘Design Assistant’ at local Melbourne label Van Der Kooij. While her pursuits and goals keeps her busy, she loves to come back home to see her supportive family and help on the farm.
