How I Got Here Live: Making it in the fashion industry part 1

SATURDAY 4 MARCH
4:30PM - 5:15PM
PANEL TALK
Live Stage Emporium

Have you ever stalked someone on LinkedIn and wondered how on earth they managed to land that wildly impressive job? While the internet and social media might have us believe that our ideal job is a mere pipe dream, the people who have these jobs were, believe it or not, in the same position once, fantasising over someone else’s seemingly unattainable job. This is precisely why Fashion Journal created its much-loved careers series, How I Got Here.

For the second year in a row, Fashion Journal will be bringing How I Got Here to a live stage at PayPal Melbourne Fashion Festival. Across two days, the Fashion Journal team and guests will unpack how to make it in the fashion industry, sharing the advice and practical tips they've gleaned along the way.

Part 1 - This session will feature Fashion Journal's Digital Editor, Cait Emma Burke, stylist and creative director Carlos Mangubat and communications and PR specialist, Genevieve Phelan. Together, they'll share the lessons they've learnt and the skills that have proved invaluable in getting them from daydreaming about success to actually being at the top of their industry.

This is a FREE event
