Part of our Premium Runway Series and curated by Mob in Fashion, the First Nations Runway is a powerful statement of creativity, culture and community and provides a platform for First Nations talent to redefine the fashion landscape.

This runway is a vibrant, high-energy celebration of fashion and artistry, and will feature full collections and one-of-a-kind pieces from a selected group of First Nations designers and artisans. It opens new creative pathways and fosters the careers of these talented creators, empowering them to shape the future of Australian fashion. 

Showcasing innovation in fashion and design, this runway highlights the seamless fusion of contemporary aesthetics with the deep, rich traditions of First Nations culture.

We want to hear from First Nations designers and artisans who are interested in showcasing their collections on the 2025 First Nations Runway. To be considered, please submit your expression of interest via the APPLY NOW button.

    8 November 2024: PMFF & Mob in Fashion to review applications

    14 November 2024: PMFF to notify successful applicants

    • In order to be considered, all designers and artisans are required to complete the Expression of Interest form prior to 4 November 2024

    • All applicants must have a current lookbook

    • The collection must have a minimum of ten looks

    • Collection must be new work not previously showcased

    • All garments and accessories must be of a high-quality construction and make

    • Innovative, creative, cohesive design aesthetic 

    • Indigenous knowledge, artisan techniques and cultural preservation - respectful integration of traditional craftsmanship and ancestral wisdom, with a focus on conserving cultural heritage and supporting the livelihoods of local communities
