The Founder and CEO of Global Indigenous Runway, Tina Waru will lead this discussion. about this event and the work of Indigenous Runway Project Inc. which is a not-for-profit organisation that supports Indigenous young people exploring careers in the fashion industry. They deliver and facilitate a personal development program for Indigenous young people that works on their confidence and self-esteem utilising fashion as a vehicle to transform and empower young people. In the fashion world, we can see a mirage of Indigenous totems and tribal patterns influenced by designs by First Nations designers.

Global Indigenous Management has delivered the Global Indigenous Runway since 2012 as part of Melbourne’s Fashion Festival.
