Past, Present and Future Threads: 10 Years of NXK celebrates a decade of Nixi Killick’s innovative fusion of fashion, art, and technology. This immersive exhibition features iconic runway pieces, hand-painted designs, and augmented reality garments that redefine wearable art.
Explore NXK’s creative process through sketches, prototypes, and sculptural designs like laser-cut, 3D-printed, and LED-illuminated creations, including pieces worn by Lady Gaga. The exhibition also showcases footage from runway shows, photoshoots, and rare archival content, offering a glimpse into NXK’s groundbreaking journey.

ABOUT THE EVENT ORGANISER
Nixi Killick is a maverick-hybrid. Her work is a vibrant mix of alternative technologies and original artwork, establishing a global 'Colourtribe' to connect creative communities, accelerate innovative ideas and refine contemporary aesthetic as a colourful beacon in the global fashion community.
Killick's creative practice revolves around leveraging technology to uplift our imagination and integrating hijacked technology into fashion and installation works to recontextualize the parameters and probe the perimeters of possibility. She is passionate about utilizing garments as wearable tools, to carry our character, allow us to project our personality and connect communities.
With a broad creative scope she has been sponsored by several major tech companies, held multiple academic positions, lead international trade missions and represented Australian fashion on many occasions. Nixi currently lives in Melbourne, where her fashion pieces are in the NGV collection and installation works commissioned by Museums Victoria.
