ETHICAL FASHION WALKING TOUR

22 FEBRUARY & 1 MARCH
10:00AM

SATURDAY 22 FEBRUARY: 37 - 39 GLENLYON ROAD, BRUNSWICK
SATURDAY 1 MARCH: 73 GERTRUDE STREET, FITZROY

SESSION TIMES: 10:00AM - 1:00PM

Are you a conscious consumer who wants to shop ethically and learn more about the people and businesses who make your clothes in Australia? Join Ethical Clothing Australia during PayPal Melbourne Fashion Festival for two Ethical Fashion Walking Tours!  These relaxed tours will let you weave your way between the gorgeous retail spaces of some of Ethical Clothing Australia's accredited brands.

Businesses who have achieved accreditation are able to use the prestigious "E" trademark, showing that they have made a commitment not only to manufacturing right here in Australia, but also to manufacturing ethically. So when you "See the E", you know that the people who made those clothes, accessories, homewares and more have been paid fairly, treated with dignity and are safe at work.

Learn more about the accredited fashion community in Melbourne, meet the teams behind the brands, shop with exclusive specials, and enjoy a morning of conscious shopping.  Coffee and morning tea are also included in your ticket price!

Choose from one of two walking tours in Brunswick or Fitzroy (or come along to both!)

Grab your water bottle, your walking shoes, your tote bag and join us to celebrate ethical fashion!

Tickets from $25

ABOUT THE EVENT ORGANISER
Ethical Clothing Australia (ECA) is an accreditation body, a multi-stakeholder initiative that sees business-industry and unions work collaboratively with local textile, clothing and footwear (TCF) businesses to protect and uphold the rights of Australian garment workers.

To be ECA accredited, a business’s manufacturing operations are audited including head office(s), any in-house manufacturing operations and all outsourced locations in Australia to ensure that local TCF workers, including outworkers, are being paid appropriately, receiving all their legal entitlements and working in safe conditions.
